 Chris’s House warranty and exchange policy.

Please see exchange policies below:
We provide a full exchange for all regular stock parts if unopened within 30 days of purchase.

All electronics, batteries and vehicles are final sale. Plastic model kits are final sale, Paint and all fluids are final sale {spray paints, adhesives, oils , greases, theadlocks etc}

 All special order items {ordered in and non stock items} are final sale and are not subject to any exchange or refund.

We do however make the odd mistake in part recommendation. If the part WE ordered is wrong we will help you get the right part at our expense. We always ask for part numbers to ensure we get you the correct part the first time. By taking a few minutes to look at a schematic {online or physical} you will make sure you get the right parts which allow you to get playing again faster and have more fun.   When we ask for a part number it’s because we care. We want you to have fun and be happy

 

Chris’s House stocks an insanely great selection of both parts and cars. If for some reason we do not stock the car or part you need it is considered a Special Order item. Unless otherwise stated these items are non-refundable or exchangeable. Special order items like all other items are expensive and time-consuming to ship back to the supplier and as such we will require you to pick up said item.  Deposits on non-picked-up items will be forfeited to Chris’s House after 30 days of non-pickup of items. 

 CANCELLATION OF AN ONLINE ORDER :

When an online order is created, transaction fees are charged to us from Paypal, visa, master card etc. These fees are collected by the credit card companies and are non-refundable 

The Fee covering all transactions is minimum 5%  and varies depending on payment provider 

paypal is 10% cancellation fee 

ALL split payment {sezzle, stripe, etc} payments made over splitting the total is subject to a 20% cancellation fee

example you make an order for a tamiya rc car the total is $300 including shipping, if you cancel the order you will be credited back $285 to your original purchase method 

This fee does not apply to orders we cancel on our end {for various reasons}, 

If you need to have your car or parts exchanged for an alternative before we have shipped the product the fee is not applicable 

Chris’s House Warranty

Chris’s House provides many in-house warranty services outlined by manufacturers and suppliers. The
following brands have in-house warranty service with original receipt

TRAXXAS: 30 DAYS ELECTRONICS
REDCAT RACING: 90 DAYS ELECTRONICS
MAVERICK: 90 DAYS ELECTRONICS
KYOSHO: 90 DAYS ELECTRONICS
RAGE RC: 30 DAYS ELECTRONICS

Brands not listed above usually carry a manufacture direct warranty where you contact them directly. Many brands only deal with end users and do not permit dealers {Chris’s House} to process warranties. Visit the manufacturer brand website and they will have a warranty submission link to fill out or perhaps give them a call/email for better service

Labor for replacement electronics is not covered by suppliers and is paid per service. Please ask us for
cost of replacement labor. Chris’s House covers all shipping from our workbench to the manufacturer.
This process can take 1-2 weeks for authorization and we work diligently to have warranty items
replaced quickly for you

All other defective hobby products not listed above will need to be directed to the manufacturer. Missing
parts from plastic models can be sent to you directly from the model supplier {amt, revel etc} these
companies have online forms and once filled out they send you the part.

Radio control vehicle warranty does not cover misuse, abuse or water damage. Property and or personal damage that occurred while using radio control cars is your responsibility. Chris’s House is not responsible for any damages resulting in loss or damage. Be responsible and play safe
