Released in 2009, this was Lexus's first hybrid-only model. It was a popular model, recording 8,600 orders in its first month of sales. The name HS is an abbreviation of "Harmonious Sedan," and it was developed with the aim of achieving harmony with "earth, people, and quality." The kit has kept the number of parts to 80 or less, and like the conventional Inch-Up series, it is easy to assemble. Not only the body shape, but also the interior, instrument panel, the fine details of the lower part of the chassis, and even parts that are not normally visible are faithfully reproduced from the actual car.
