The F/A-18E Super Hornet is the United States Navy's most advanced jet fighter/attack aircraft.
This aircraft is based on the F/A-18C and has undergone significant upgrades. While the larger size and angular intake shape are the most noticeable external features, the entire airframe is actually a new design distinct from the C model. It boasts improved flight performance and weapons payload capacity, as well as incorporating features for future development.
The E model is a single-seat aircraft.
The kit features newly developed parts around the canopy to recreate the single-seat configuration. It accurately represents the Super Hornet's form, realistically depicting the sharp, angular lines of this state-of-the-art aircraft.
Equipment includes drop tanks, AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles, and AIM-120C AMRAAM missiles.
