The "Shinkai 6500" is the world's only manned submersible capable of diving to a depth of 6,500 meters.
It carries a crew of three—two pilots and one researcher—to conduct various research and investigations in the deep sea.
Since its completion in 1990, it has performed over 1,250 dives, continuously reporting new discoveries.

This kit was developed through thorough research in cooperation with the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC).
