The BMW M3 GT2 2009 1/10 RC Touring Car Kit is a detailed assembly of the Rahal Letterman-raced GT2 car from the 2009 American Le Mans Series, built on the TT-01E shaft-driven 4WD chassis. The polycarbonate body faithfully captures the racing silhouette.

Clear Body

The clear polycarbonate body is shaped to accurately replicate the racing lines and aggressive stance of the 2009 BMW M3 GT2, providing an authentic on-track look. Separate molded components for mirrors and the rear wing add scale realism, and the transparent shell allows custom painting and decal application to match real livery or personal style. It also includes light mounting points for headlights and taillights to enhance visual detail.

Performance Chassis

The updated shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E features a bathtub chassis design, positioning the motor and battery close to the ground for a lower center of gravity and enhanced balance. This setup includes a fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers to boost rigidity, alongside a 3-piece tie rod for smoother steering. With its low center of gravity, well-balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differentials, this model offers exceptional class racing performance.

Included Electronics

This chassis Kit includes both a torque tuned brushed motor and ESC, these components combine to deliver a performance enhanced on-road racing experience. 

The compact ESC boasts extreme performance, complemented by a built-in capacitor module for efficient power delivery. With exceptional current endurance capability, easily configurable parameters using ESC jumpers, and automatic throttle range calibration for user-friendly setup, the ESC stands out. Its impressive built-in BEC output capacity, built-in capacitor, and IP-67 waterproof rating further elevate its reliability, making it a top-tier choice for enthusiasts seeking optimal performance in their RC adventures. The RS-540 Torque-Tuned motor offers higher top speeds and increased acceleration.

Connector Information

When upgrading to a high current LiPo battery, it is recommended to also upgrade your battery connector. We recommend using an XT60 or T-Style connector for this application.
